So what does the outdoors, what does running, what does walking in the outdoors show me?
That everything is okay.
When you pause, stop and think think, take in all the surroundings, feel yourself in a setting, see yourself the size you really are, let the eyes wander, let the mind wander, let the senses wander….What Can You Hear? What can you smell? Is it warm on your skin? Is it windy?
Here in the mountains there’s no end of things to take your attention and by getting drawn outside of yourself by connecting with the wider world your worries and your problems, that constant think or overthink dissolves, evaporates, it’s gone.
